Aware mentioned on another board he put ghrp/mod129 3x/day at the equivalent of 10iu Gh a day, that is WAY more than i thought it would be
I may have to try that route first
How much of a saving is there between gh & peps? say for 5iu of gh vs the equivalent peps?
about 50% ish depending IIrc
I just picked up about 30 days of ghrp2 and grf129 for $70, (aware says this equates to about 10iu/day)
33 days at 3iu/day is one kit, name brand $190/200 so depending on what your paying it may be much more than 1/3
I am going to try both and compare, maybe i'll run a blog on here
and back to the Knee,
surgeon today said he doesn't think it is the meniscus, like the PT said, My doc had no idea what it was
He thinks it is a damaged nerve (prepatellar neuroma)
this is good in that it is not actual damage to the knee, it is the same as the only real treatment is to remove it surgically
He shot it full of Novocaine and cortisone and said call me if that doesn't work
did some online research and it seems a conclusion that cortisone doesn't work. so I'll give it week and go back.
I found cortisone helped tremendously with my shoulder but did naff all for tennis elbow for some reason.....in saying that the shoulder shot was put in by a orthopedic specialist and the elbow shot by a GP who didn't inspire confidence by saying " hope we got the right bit".....
cortisone just kills all the swelling.
so if the swelling was causing rubbing or inflammation then it cant heal cause every time you move it you irritate it more
If thats the case cortisone does wonders
but if something is actually damaged then its worthless
its just a hoop the insurance companies make you jump through becore they will pay for surgery
Sounds like a case of classic patellar tendonitis. I disagree with above. Don't think it sounds like a torn meniscus. And Don't have to have imaging to diagnose patellar tendonitis. In fact, it prob won't show up on an imaging study anyway. Try a Cho-Pat strap and rest. A cortisone injection can be helpful also. But without rest, you will cont to aggravate it. It can be a very frustrating and nagging injury to deal with unfortunately. keep us posted on how its going.
