      Hello Peeps. Thought I'd check in again. I got bored to death with bodybuilding last year. Wasn't progressing, injured my shoulder couldn't be arsed with eating and generally couldn't stand all the bullshit info I was reading. Anywho, I still love lifting so went looking for something new. I wanted to get a lot stronger and stumbled on Jim Wendler. I bought his book and have now started following his recommendations.
      It's based on cycles of lifting certain percentages of your maxs on the big 4 lifts- Military Press, Deadlift, Bench and Squat.
      3x5 1st week
      3x3 2nd week
      3x5/3/1 3rd week
      deload 3x5 4th week
      After your work sets you work on shit that assists that lift.
      Next cycle you add 2.5 kg for upper and 5kg for lower body onto your max, recalculate the percentages and start again.
      After 6 cycles that should add 30kg to my Deads and Squats and 15kg to my Bench and Mil Press. I reckon thats good progress.
      Currently my maxs are;
      Mil Press 80kg
      Deads 180kg
      Incline Bench 100kg
      Squat 140kg

      I guess I'll let you know how I get on.
