      Unlocking a PDF File

      I have been sent a PDF file that I can't print because of the settings on it.

      Is anyone able to "unlock" the settings of a PDF file?

      browse to the location of your locked pdf file with the following page.

      you will see where you can add your pdf document.
      once you add it, it will unlock for you.

      Boiler Adobe reader is the free jobbie which Ibet Graham's already got. If you can get a copy of adobe Acrobat pro somehow that will also work. Lews should work too, if you're really stuck (and its nothing personal) email it to me and I'll sort it.

      If you send it to me I have an app that can convert back to word, ppt or excel for example

      Its a paid app called abletoextract

      But it won't work on a scanned to pdf file. Only works on something converted to pdf from the original source

      Thanks guys.

      Ideally, I'd love it to be converted to a word file so I could alter it.

      But it's a huge file so I don't know whether settings or formatting would be lost converting it back to word.

      I've got Adobe Pro at home but it doesn't help.

      I'll have a go with what Lewi recommended and if I'm unable to do it - I'm not that good with computers - I'll email it to you Dylan.

      Is that ok?
