We are getting no snow here in CA. It doesn't snow where I live, but there are ski resorts about a 3-4 hour drive from me.
I love snowboarding, so I have been looking forward to the season starting. I hope when it finally comes, it snows hard
and we have a late, long lasting season. Last year was great and went almost into July.

Straad's in the Northern US (or upper midwest as it is sometimes called), it doesn't snow in the South. The South is humid and warm in the Summer, and just a little cold in the Winter.
Sometimes snow falls in the South, but as far as I know, it never stays on the ground.
