Been away for a while, posting a pic to motivate myself.....

I have been a little lax with 'the lifestyle' lately, with work and other obligations getting in my way.
I still train at least twice a week, but my diet has been very poor (still healthy, just barely any protein and not enough cals to grow), and sleep has been minimal.

I decided I wanted to put a pic up, I feel it will motivate me to make some gains. If I put a pic up and say I want to get bigger and leaner by the next time I post another pic, I will have to answer to you guys if the results are not there
I am getting married on January 6th in Costa Rica, I'll be gone for ten days, but other than that break, I plan on devoting whatever free time I have to meal prep, training, rest, etc.

I will post a progress pic every couple months. I am hoping to be 215-220 lean by January 2013. I am thinking I need about 15lbs of pure muscle tissue to get there, maybe more. That will be hard to do in one year, even with assistance, but I'm going to try.

      So here goes,
      5'9.5'', 205-210lbs

Don't mind my stupid expression, I just learned to use the automatic timer on the camera before taking these pics. I'll get some better pics and some different angles when my girl is around. I couldn't get any other angles to look right in this lighting and with the auto setting.

Well that can't be it, I sense disappointment in your post

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Straad - I really did have a long period of not training/barely training this year. I have had a really rough year with work, this recession is kicking my ass. Car sales are way down and my margins are half of what they used to be. August and September I worked 7 days a week 18-20 hr days, and I think I made it to the gym 1x per week, was eating 1 meal a day at most. My girl got really worried about me, I looked unhealthy with all the lack of sleep.
The pic posted here is me after getting back into the gym for a good month, but 2x per week training still. I am assisted with GH and some gear, and the muscle memory has been good, but I am no where near where I should be if I had stayed consistent.
I was holding a very solid and lean 214 before August, so I feel a little down about my current state. I guess my ego is more fragile than I had thought, because you guys telling me I look good is putting a smile on my face, haha.

My goal now is just to stay consistent. Not necessarily with gear, but just keeping protein up and staying in the gym at LEAST 2x per week, preferably 3.5 (I train EOD when I am fully immersed in the lifestyle, that is what works best for my CNS).

In my younger years, it was drinking and partying that made me yo-yo all the time with weight, but now that I am older and wiser, it is work that is holding me back. I am making some changes with that though, trying to cut some costs of living here and there, so I can live a more conventional lifestyle and have more time for my hobbies and social life.

I'll get one more pic up before leaving for my wedding, and then I'll post monthly updates. I figure it will give me the motivation to stay consistent, I don't want to let myself down by having no progress or going backwards.

I just had blood drawn today to check my health, I will be getting on a hefty cycle in February if everything checks out.
