      10 Weeks out

Been training and eating clean, dropped BF and was on course for a show. Here's me at about 10 weeks out so not do sure if I'll make it due to injury.

Flame away, now I'm scheduled for an MRI and surgery on my shoulder so I'll be sidelined for awhile. Wife is training for the bikini show so guess all I'm good for now is support.

I agree with being nice to my body but I did hit 415 off the bench again after a shot of cortizone.

Once i hit 40 everything started changing.

dude you are preaching to the choir, 40 hit like a fucking brick wall.

I havent benched over 225 in a few years now
mt best competition flat bench when i was competing was 500
but that and $1 will get me a cup of coffee
there really is no reason to bench over 300 except ego and to intentionally destroy your joints
I know i know i did it for years I just mean i wouldnt let my kids do it if i was teaching them to lift cause i have gotten nothing but pain out of it

      Looking good!
The only weakness I see (from a judge's point of view) is that your chest looks like it lags behind a bit from the rest of your bodyparts, but that is only me being picky.
Otherwise, you look like you are on track for 10 wks time.
btw. Which show were you planning to compete in?

      Good Luck!

Lookin good. Thats a very posh toilet roll holder you have there

Chest widowmaker for you.....do this after training chest. oN THE SMITH MACHINE, HAVE YOUR BENCH AT ROUGHLY 35 DEGREES, So the bar touches your nipples when lowered. Chest held high to almost meet the bar, & arms to travel downwards, not crucified ( powerlifting style).
Grab the bar as wide as possible. For me its right next to the hooks.
Go as deep as possible with a 1-2 second pause at the bottom then press the bar straight up.
Start at 30 reps then keeping adding weight each week. Youre aiming for 20-30 reps each time.

Over time you might get down to about 14 reps, but youve only got ten weeks so just keep plugging away till you hit thirty, followed by the dc chest stretch for 90 secs

Also, try these for your lats

Looking good mate, chest is good but not as full and think as the rest of you, however I recon once you lean out further, more detail from the side...etc will appear making it stand out more.

And I still can't believe no one has asked you to post pics of your wifes bikini comp progress :-D
